Dinner at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, located in Hollywood Studios, is one of those quirky and unique restaurants at Disney World that I absolutely love. There’s just something so fun and nostalgic about this retro theme and unique dining room. Plus, over the years, we’ve found the gluten free and dairy free options to be really good. On this recent visit, Brandon and I decided to go to Sci-Fi Dine-In for dinner last minute so that we could enjoy the holiday decorations and shows at the park. We did not have a reservation, so we were very lucky that we were able to do a walk-up for dinner that evening.

Grand Floridian Cafe located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (as of 11/2018) – This menu covers the top 8 common allergens (gluten/wheat, milk/dairy, egg, soy, peanut, tree nut, fish and shellfish). Check with the restaurant for modifications and/or other special dietary needs.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — holidays at Disney World! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a ticketed event that takes place during the holiday season at the Magic Kingdom and runs from November 8 – December 21, 2018. The party includes a variety of activities and events (my favorite is the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade) and guests who attend this party a variety of cookies and other treats that are included with the price of your party ticket. But, if you have a special dietary need, will there be options? We recently went to the Christmas Party and were able to check out some of the options available.

Dinner at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, is a charming table service restaurant that serves up classic soda shop fare like burgers, fries, and ice cream sundaes. Both Brandon and I love the sundaes at Beaches and Cream. Recently, we took Brandon’s parents there for dinner and ice cream sundaes and to celebrate Brandon’s mom’s birthday.

Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

Liberty Tree Tavern, located in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom, is a table service restaurant that serves classic Thanksgiving-style meals in a setting inspired by colonial America. Recently, we had dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern before Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to enjoy a meal that made us think of the holidays. I’ve been to Liberty Tree Tavern quite a few times over the years. But, this was Brandon’s first visit, and I was looking forward to hearing what he thought of the all-you-care-to-enjoy meal there.
