May the force be with you! If you are a Star Wars™ fan and heading to the Star Wars™ Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, then the newly released dining experiences are perfect for you. It was recently announced that two unique dining experiences would be released during Star Wars™ Weekends from May 4 to June 15, 2014.
Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars™ Dine at Hollywood and Vine
Located at Hollywood and Vine, everything about this character meal (which is a buffet) is Star Wars™ themed! Characters as of press time include: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Chip & Dale as Star Wars™ characters (Jedi Mickey, Princess Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy, Stormtrooper Donald, and Ewoks Chip & Dale). You will get to meet and greet the characters, and they will interact with you during your meal. Included is your meal is a commemorative photopass card that will include a photo of you, Chip & Dale. You can also combine this meal with a Fantasmic meal package.
Times: 4:15pm to 8 or 8:30 pm (sometimes 9pm to 9:30 – based on park close)
Price: Adult – $59.99 with Fantasmic! Package or $55.99 without
Child – $36.99 with Fantasmic! Package or $32.99 without
Star Wars™ Dine-In Galactic Breakfast
This breakfast will be held in Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and will feature character dining as well. And the theater will show Star Wars™ clips instead of the regular clips normally shown. Characters slated to be at the venue as of press time include: Stormtroopers, Jawa, Greedo, and Boba Fett and a Darth Vader. Included is your meal is a commemorative photopass card that will include a photo of you and Star Wars™ characters.
Times: 8am – 12pm
Price: Adult – $47.99
Child – $29.99
If you are using the dining plan, this will take 2 dining plan table service credits. Additionally, you can note your special dietary needs, as always, when making reservations. Reservations are available beginning March 26, and you have to call the regular reservation line to book these. It is expected that these will book up quickly, so don’t delay!
The force must have been strong with me, as I was able to book both the dinner and the breakfast. Menus haven’t been released yet, but I’m super excited to be going to both of these! And the characters are too cool! Um, you know there’s going to be multiple Chip & Dale photos with me. Ewoks? How adorable are they?
I went to the May the 4th event last year and had a great time. I tend to skip Star Wars™ Weekends because of the crowds, but they seem to be pulling out all the stops this year. Expect a full report from these dining experiences!
