Sanaa, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village, has long been one of my favorite table service restaurants to dine at. While it used to be a bit of a hidden gem of a restaurant on property, word has gotten out and Sanaa is now an extremely popular dining location known for its delicious and unique food options and theming. Recently, we dined at Sanaa with friends who were visiting from out of town. They also have special dietary needs, so we’re sharing some of the dishes that we ordered and they ordered on this visit.
It’s that time of year when Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival takes place. Held on August 30, 2018 through November 12, 2018, this year’s Festival lasts over two months.
Here is a listing of the current vegetarian and vegan menu items. I will be adding prices and Disney Dining Plan Snack eligibility when available based on information from the official Epcot Food & Wine Festival website along with info from the Disney Food Blog, AllEars.net & Vegan Disney World blog. I will be updating and posting information from my own visits once the festival begins.
Sanaa located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village (as of 8/2018) – This menu covers the top 8 common allergens (gluten/wheat, milk/dairy, egg, soy, peanut, tree nut, fish and shellfish). Check with the restaurant for modifications and/or other special dietary needs.

When it comes to planning a family vacation that everyone in the family is sure to love, the Disney Parks are probably at the top of your list. Both the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California are two of the world’s top vacation destinations. And, with family-friendly entertainment and attractions, it’s not hard to see why. There’s so much to see and do that everyone in the whole family is sure to find something that they enjoy. To add to the Disney magic, if you’re visiting the Disney Parks with a special dietary need, you’ll find that the Disney culinary team has worked hard to make sure you have safe and delicious meal options. In fact, the Walt Disney World Resort has been recipient of a FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) Award for their training and handling of special dietary needs in the parks and resorts. How cool is that?
