Expedition Roasters Coffee Company

*Expedition Roasters provided me with several bags of coffee to try. However, I was not required to write a post, and all opinions are my own.

Expedition Roasters Coffee

Walt Disney loved a good story. Creating a story and atmosphere are a huge reason why so many of us love Disney World. It’s stories that make something extra special and more memorable. Recently, I learned about Expedition Roasters Coffee (formerly known as Trader Sam’s Coffee Company), and the clever stories they were creating with each of their Disney inspired coffees. Of course, I knew I had to check it out.

I reached out to the Erick and Marlene, the owners and creators of Expedition Roasters, to learn more about their company and to see if their products were safe for me to try. I was super excited to not only learn a bit more about the company but also that the flavors are gluten free, allergy free, and even Kosher.

Erick and Marlene started Expedition Roasters as a small online coffee company as a way to help give back to dog rescue organizations through outstanding coffee and unmatched customer service. And from there, the magic kept growing. They made it their mission to create a great coffee experience to help you truly “Brew Your Happy Place.”

Their coffee options include tons of different flavors and themes. Haunted Mansion fan? Try out their Ghoulish Delight brew. Love Pirates of the Caribbean? You’ll be sure to love the Redhead Rum flavor that will never make you ask, “But, why is the rum gone?” On my recent shipment, I tried several flavors including: Ghoulish Delight, Redhead Rum, Main Street U.S.A. Columbian, and the Happiest Brew that Ever Sailed.

Happiest Brew that Ever Sailed

I love a great seasonal flavored coffee, especially all things peppermint and chocolate. So, I knew that the Happiest Brew that Ever Sailed Peppermint Mocha flavored coffee was a must-try on my list. And, boy, it did not disappoint. This was my favorite of the flavored coffees in the bunch. With a pleasant peppermint mocha flavor, you’ll enjoy sipping this throughout the holiday season. But, be sure to get it while it’s still available. This is a seasonal flavor that might not always be on the Expedition Roasters menu.

Ghoulish Delight

You’d swear happy haunts materialize when you try the Ghoulish Delight flavored coffee. This one is a must order for those Haunted Mansion fans out there. If you’re like me, I never can get the ratio of cinnamon and coffee right when I make a pot of coffee. So, having a blend this with a good hint of cinnamon already in the coffee, makes for a perfect cup of cinnamon flavor every time.

Redhead Rum

For the Captain Jack Sparrow in your household, try out the Redhead Rum flavored coffee. This actually makes for a great holiday inspired drink too — without the added alcohol. Of course, you really do need to like rum flavor to enjoy this one, so it may not be everyone’s cup of coffee of choice. But, for those who want to channel their inner pirate, the Redhead Rum is a great option.

Main Street U.S.A. Colombian

If flavored coffee isn’t your thing, or you just really love a good solid coffee, then look no further than the Main Street U.S.A. Colombian. This was hands down my favorite of all the coffees because it’s just coffee perfection. A good, rich cup of coffee, that you could imagine drinking on Main Street U.S.A. For anyone ordering Expedition Roasters Coffee, this one should always be on the list!

Overall

I was super impressed by the story, theming, and flavor of all the coffees I tried from Expedition Roasters. They’re doing a great job at creating a coffee company that helps you get your Disney fix wherever you are and no matter how long it is until your next Disney vacation. Huge thanks again to Erick and Marlene for chatting with me about their coffees and letting me try out the flavors. I’ll definitely be “Brewing My Happy Place,” with Expedition Roasters with these Disney inspired coffees.
