I recently got an email from Frank Brough, Chef de Cuisine, at the Contemporary about Gluten Free options at the Top of the World Lounge. Here’s what he said:
- Lump Crab Nachos-We serve 3 corn nachos with a mound of blue crab meat and serve it on a bed of salsa.
- Chicken and Vegetable Summer Rolls-This item is wrapped in rice paper. It is served with Hoi sin Sauce on the side and Hoi sin does contain gluten. We can leave it off the plate.
- Coconut Panna Cotta with Passion Fruit Drizzle
Hopefully, I’ll be able to convert the appetizers (not the Panna Cotta) to dairy free as well (waiting to hear back from him on this). I have seen the crab nachos and they have cheese and sour cream on them. I think if you just remove those items, the nachos would be gluten and dairy free. The summer roll seems milk allergy friendly without any modifications.
