This past year, I got my first annual pass to SeaWorld Orlando, and I’ve been learning a lot on how they handle special dietary needs. With a partnership with FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education), SeaWorld Orlando is doing a lot to ensure that guests enjoy a safe visit when dining at SeaWorld Orlando restaurants.
Here’s some of my top tips when planning & visiting SeaWorld Orlando with special dietary needs.
1. Check out SeaWorld Orlando’s Allergen Information Resources Page
Before your SeaWorld Orlando visit, you can check out SeaWorld’s allergen information resources page, which contains info about visiting with special dietary needs, allergen cards, specialty food allergy products, FAQ and more. You can also email SeaWorld Orlando directly with questions that you might have about your upcoming visit and special dietary needs.

2. Look for reviews and blogs before your visit
Reading reviews and blog posts about visiting SeaWorld Orlando with special dietary needs before your trip can be really helpful. You can learn more about specific restaurant offerings along with tips and tricks that you can use on your visit. You can read my reviews of SeaWorld Orlando here on the blog.
3. Bring Allergy Cards with you
SeaWorld Orlando has allergy cards that you can print out and bring with you for quick service and table service locations. Fill them out and bring them everywhere you dine.
4. Look for allergy friendly snacks
SeaWorld Orlando offers a variety of special dietary needs snacks including Divvies products, Rich’s Gluten Free Brownies, and Enjoy Life Sugar Cookies. Products may vary by special dietary need and location. Check with a team member for more information about product offerings.
5. Bring your own food
If you don’t feel comfortable purchasing food to eat at SeaWorld Orlando, you can bring your own food in per SeaWorld’s website. You are allowed to bring in collapsible coolers; or, you can leave food in your car, and leave or re-enter the park, as needed.
I’ve been very impressed with the level of care that SeaWorld takes with special dietary needs in the park. If you’re considering a visit to SeaWorld Orlando but are worried about food options, definitely give it a chance. With some pre-trip research and tools to get you prepared, you’ll find some delicious and safe meals to eat in the park!
