2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival Gluten Free Offerings

It’s that time of year when Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival takes place. Held on September 14, 2016 through November 14, 2016, this year’s Festival is even longer than it was last year.

Here is a listing of the current gluten free menu items with prices and Disney Dining Plan Snack eligibility based on information from my personal visits to the Epcot Food & Wine Festival along with info from the Disney Food Blog and AllEars.net.

Make sure to click on the individual pages for each booth to see food photos and find out more information.

I’ve indicated known special dietary needs (at this time). This list will change as more information is gathered.

*Note: Menus are subject to change, as is any information regarding ingredients, cross-contamination, and other special dietary needs ingredients. Always consult with the Disney culinary team for more information before consuming. Use caution when consuming any food from marketplace booths, as there is an increased risk of cross-contamination. Marketplace booths do not adhere to Disney’s traditional special dietary needs accommodations, particularly for allergies and/or celiac disease.

  1. Just wondering if you have had any experience with having dishes altered to make them gluten free, taking off the roll or bread, garnishes on drinks, etc?

    1. I have in years past, but I haven’t asked at any of the booths yet, this year. Sometimes it is an easy modification!

      1. Thanks! I’m heading down in a couple of a weeks and was trying to see if it was possible, good to know that sometimes it is doable! Your blog has been very helpful, thank you!

        1. I hope you have a great time & enjoy safely! 🙂

  2. Hi Sarah, Thanks so much for doing this research. I read on another site that dole whip is not dairy free – I think there was some milk derivative in it. Do you know if that’s false, true? I’m hoping it’s false.

Also this year is the first time at food & wine that I have to be dairy free on top of gluten free. Honestly there doesn’t seem to be a lot to eat for me. What would you suggest for ways to supplement the Food & Wine items if I’m still hungry?

    1. Hi Sarah, the pineapple dole whip is dairy free. It used to have caseinate in it, but it no longer does. Here’s the current ingredients list from the binder (with photos from the actual binder) from August at the Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom: https://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/pineapple-dole-whip-snacks-aloha-isle-magic-kingdom/

For the festival, there’s not a lot of GFDF options, and that’s always a bummer. I always suggest doing other fun things like getting your favorite snacks (fresh plain popped popcorn at Disney is gluten free & dairy free) that are safe or enjoying a nice meal that’s special. I also like the seminars on wine and mixology, as they don’t contain food but let you get in on the Food & Wine fun.

      I hope that helps!
